The Dakshinkali Temple also known as Dakshina Kali Temple, is situated in Dakshinkali Municipality, KTM which is roughly 1 Km away from Pharping village. This temple holds the same religious significance as Pashupatinath Temple & Manakamana Temple.

Devotees believe that this fiery goddess requires sacrifices therefore, worshipers bring animals to the temple for ritual slaughter and butchering. The worship of the goddess primarily involves animal sacrifices, especially cockerels and male goats.

There is a belief that Dakshinkali Mata embodies a protective maternal figure, shielding her devotees and children from misfortunes. Additionally, it attracts many visitors due to its proximity to hiking trails near Pharping village.
